Achievements & Career Highlights

1-Join King Saud University for Health specialities as an Assistant professor and participate in multiple pre-graduate teaching lectures, exams & programs. 2-Help Establish the protocol to shift all our Breast Surgery cases to be performed in a Day surgery setting which greatly helped in alleviating the admission load on the hospital. 3-Introduce the wireless localization system (SAVI reflector) making KAMC the first centre within the kingdom to adopt it and greatly improve breast cancer care in multiple ways. 4-Managed to gain the approval to receive 50% of total thyroid/parathyroid case referrals which has been previously done exclusively by the ENT speciality. 5-Establishing a Complete Breast & Endocrine Oncology surgery Fellowship training program at KAMC NGH Jeddah, the first within the Western region of Saudi Arabia. 6-Assigned as Breast & Endocrine Oncology Surgery Fellowship Training program director. 7-Successfully implemented and conducted Minimally Invasive Video-assisted Parathyroid (MIVAP) surgeries as day surgery cases, marking a milestone in patient care advancement at the National Guard health Affairs. 8-Successfully preform the first minimally invasive video assisted thyroid (MIVAT) surgeries establishing another milestone within the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, establishing another milestone in advancing surgical techniques and enhancing patient care. 9-At present, I am the sole surgeon conducting minimally invasive laparoscopic adrenal surgeries. 10-Introduce and implement multiple up to date standards for breast cancer care such at Oncoplastic Breast Surgeries (OPBS), Targeted Axillary Dissection (TAD) & Upfront Sentinel Node Biopsy (SNB) for initially positive axilla with lower burden disease.
